Our Story
Hi, I'm Domantas Jovaišas — a developer, a husband, and a father of three. On paper, managing our family money should have been easy. In real life? A mortgage, a couple of loans, a car lease, school expenses times three, a wonderful wife with a true talent for finding discounts I never planned for — and on top of all that, a long list of wishes. Some achievable. Some… let's say "optimistic."
Every month I had the same questions: What do we actually earn? Where does it all go? What can we afford — and what should we move aside so we can reach something bigger? No app could answer that for a family like ours. So one evening, instead of another spreadsheet, I started building my own tool.
It worked. For the first time, our finances were transparent — I could see the whole picture, react fast, and we finally felt in control instead of surprised. Friends started asking for it. So I turned my family's internal tool into a product every family can use. That's how Finlo came into the world — born in a real home, tested by real chaos.
